UM National Science Foundation (NSF) Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR) resources are used to encourage undergraduate participation in research. NSF EPSCoR supported participation of undergraduates in research in Montana has been highly successful and we propose to continue this program during this grant round (2001-2004).The application process is open year round with individual awards of $1,500.

The Montana Network for Biomedical Research Opportunities offers faculty, undergraduate and graduate students throughout Montana enhanced research opportunities in the biomedical sciences. Some work may be in Missoula, some not.
The summer undergraduate research fellowships within the Center for Structural and Functional Neuroscience (CSFN) are intended to provide hands-on experience for students interested in pursuing biomedical research. This application needs to be in by the end of April.
