Volunteer Fair

The Office for Civic Engagement organizes a Volunteer Fair every semester to help nonprofit organizations in Missoula promote their services and help students find the volunteer opportunities they have been searching for. The Volunteer Fair is an excellent opportunity for potential volunteers to find service opportunities and meet face-to-face with local organizations.

The Volunteer Fair is held once per academic semester during the first few weeks of school in the University Center on the UM campus. The Fall Volunteer Fair will be held Sept 10th and 11th, 2013 from 10-2 in the UC Atrium. The Spring Volunteer Fair will be Feb 11th and 12th, 2014.  Organizations wishing to participate may contact the OCE at 243-5531 or email colleen.kane@mso.umt.edu.  Registration will open a month prior to each event.

The registration fee is $10 per table per day.  Please be aware that there is limited space available for overnight storage.  You must indicate on the registration form whether or not you will need to keep items on campus overnight.

There are a limited number of spaces, so tables will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Priority will be given to those who register for both days.  A confirmation packet will be sent to you when you register.

Parking on campus for both days will require a day pass for regular spots, or you may opt to pay for hourly parking.  All-day parking passes do not guarantee you a place to park.  If you would like a parking pass, please check the box on the registration form.  Each pass is $3.00 and covers one vehicle for one day.  Your pass will be mailed to you with your registration confirmation.  Parking for individuals with passes is available in several spots around campus, the closest places being the parking garage behind Mansfield Library or in the lot between the garage and the University Center.  Agencies will be responsible to pay for hourly parking, if they choose this option.  There is Quick-Stop parking (20 minutes) to drop off or pick up supplies, and hourly parking ($.75 per hour) on the North side of the University Center (near the tennis courts).  As usual, the earlier you arrive, the more likely you are to find a good spot.  You will receive a map of campus parking in your confirmation packet.
