NCCC Alums/Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Certificate Seekers
Welcome - We're happy to see you.
The Online Program in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Montana presents an ideal way for you to complete your Nonprofit Leadership Alliance (formerly American Humanics) Certificate requirements, simply and economically (but not without some academic work on your part!) Among other courses, we offer Grantwriting, Fundraising, Board Management, and Nonprofit Financial Management, all competency areas required by Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. These courses are ten-weeks long and offer two credits each. The cost per course is $385, including the credit-recording fee. Our courses are taught by high level professionals in the field, and consistently receive rave reviews from students.
You may not be able to register for all of your courses by the June 30 deadline, but you may instead submit to your Nonprofit Leadership Alliance advisor a contract you can download.
NCCC students need to fill out a student profile with the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance online. NCCC students taking coursework at The University of Montana should indicate this as their affiliate university when creating the profile.
NCCC students must also attend the Alliance Management/Leadership Institute (AMI) hosted each year in Janaury by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Click here for more information.
Important!
Courses are generally offered only once per year, they fill rather quickly (especially these four), and registration closes two weeks prior to course start dates. So, do not wait until the last minute to register for these courses or you may be disappointed.
Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Administration
In addition to meeting your Nonprofit Leadership Alliance requirements, you may also be interested in our 16-credit Professional Certificate in Nonprofit Administration. All courses are offered asynchronously online through Moodle, meaning there are no defined meeting times, so you can do the readings and assignments according to your schedule.

*Note on use of Education Awards
Although these courses are eligible for payment by AmeriCorps education awards, you must pay for them at the time you register, then immediately request payment to the University of Montana through the MyAmericorps portal. You will then be reimbursed by the University of Montana. You may also include the cost of any textbooks in this transaction.
